WHAT TO EXPECT ON SAFARI WITH IMFUDUKO
Clients will experience an off-the-beaten-track safari in the unspoilt wilderness of Southern Africa including;
- true African nature, varying from lush tropical vegetation to typical semi-arid grasslands with scattered thorn - and palm trees
- abundant sightings and closeness to a variety of wildlife and most of the Big Five
- prolific and varied birdlife
- closeness to nature that is only possible with a safari in the wild
- ample photographic opportunities,
- the feeling of truly being part of an unspoilt wilderness
- falling asleep each night to the sounds of nature
GAME DRIVES, GAME VIEWING AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
Game drives will generally be held twice daily when in National Parks or Game Reserves. These will usually be in Imfuduko vehicles, but from time to time the opportunity may exist for clients to go on game drives in open topped game vehicles with guides from local lodges etc. Game viewing activities can be usually be held to suit clients needs
STANDARD OF CAMPING
Clients sleep in fully enclosed, walk in safari dome tents, complete with stretchers(cots) and mattresses.
MEALS INCLUDED IN PRICE
Clients on safari with Imfuduko can expect three meals per day plus teas, coffee and drinking water. Beer and wine is also served with the evening meal, included in the price with Semi-Luxury option.
VEHICLES USED
High clearance, purpose built Toyota Land Cruiser bush vehicles
PASSPORTS, VISAS
Passports, visas, health certificates, inoculations, and the like are the responsibility of the client or travel agent to arrange.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
Guests with health concerns and/ or medical requirements/ allergies/ conditions should please advise their guide prior to departure
COMMUNICATIONS
Each safari vehicle is equipped with satellite communications. Primarily for emergency useage,
on certain safaris, these facilities, both phone and e-mail, can be available for clients usage at a cost per minute. Please enquire in advance if you may need this facility.
POLITICAL AND SECURITY
Namibia, Botswana and Zambia are peaceful, politically stable and economically growing democracies. From a security aspect, visitors to these countries need only take the normal sensible precautions require anywhere in the world.
PRICING AND BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please note a deposit of 20% of the full price of the safari is required to confirm your booking, with the balance of 80% due in full 8 weeks prior to departure.
For bookings received within 8 weeks prior to date of travel, the full payment is required at time of booking. No booking will be secured or confirmed until the specified deposit has been received. Further details of payment will be provided at time of booking

- Malaria Prophylactics
- Own medication (sufficient for your trip duration. Do not expect to be able to get additional medication whilst on safari)
- Bathroom requisites
- Sunglasses
- Sun block min SPF Factor 30 recommended, higher for fairer skins.
- Baggage (max one bag plus hand bag/camera bag, per person, soft, (NOT suitcase), size (maximum) 70x35x30 cms. Kindly note that space on vehicles is often limited. Exceeding these requests may lead to baggage having to be left behind at clients risk and expense.
- Hat/cap or headwear
- Neutral coloured clothing. (Some long sleeved shirts/blouses for protection against mosquitoes)
- Jacket (rain/windcheater) (lined in winter months May to August)
- Walking shoes/boots and sandals
- Flashlight (torch)( Minimum beam 30m)
- Camera and sufficient film/memory and spare batteries.
- Binoculars each (ESSENTIAL)
- Minimal jewellery, aftershave and perfume.
